Wood Care Basic #2: Why can’t I just do the work myself?
You can but the results you seek may not be to your liking. Often times, the do-it-yourselfer does not have the experience or the knowledge to successfully power wash and seal a deck and, therefore, is ultimately unsatisfied with the finished product.
Using incorrect tools, using the correct tools incorrectly, or using incorrect cleaning products, could mean danger to your woods health. Some cleaning products actually weaken your woods chemical composition, which speeds the decaying process!
So, leave the work to us. The time and effort required for a typical do-it-yourselfer is most often 3 to 4 times the amount of time it takes us. Not only will your job be completed faster, but you can relax knowing that your project is in good hands, and the results will exceed your expectations.
